This document constitutes the General Terms and Conditions of Sale (the “GTCS”) for the Copyright.eu service of Alvax Technologies. It defines the terms and conditions of sale of Alvax Technologies services, which are accessible under the heading “Our Services” on the websites https://www.alvaxtech.com/ (the “Sites”).
The GTCS are available on the Sites, at the bottom of each page, and may be consulted at any time. Alvax Technologies advises users to keep these GTCS on a durable medium, such as by printing them out.
Any Internet user registering on the Sites undertakes to comply with these GTCS. Any order for services offered by Alvax Technologies implies acceptance by the Internet user, without reservation, of these GTCS.
Scope of Application
These general conditions of sale apply between Alvax Technologies and any person accepting, as a consumer, one of the service offers proposed online. This is without prejudice to the special conditions applicable to certain specific services.
Determination of Customer Status
Any natural person acting for purposes outside their commercial, industrial, craft, liberal, or agricultural activity is deemed a consumer according to the introductory article of the Consumer Code.
Exclusions
The following are excluded from these general conditions:
• Non-professionals: Any legal person not acting for professional purposes.
• Professionals: Any natural or legal person, public or private, acting within their commercial, industrial, craft, liberal, or agricultural activity, including acting on behalf of another professional. Language
The principal language is Croatian, used for all dealings with Alvax Technologies, including offers, contractual stipulations, and all service-related elements. The Croatian version is always deemed authoritative.
The secondary language is English, accessible to all Internet users who wish to use it. Alvax Technologies allows English-speaking co-contractors to communicate in English for service-related questions, with customer service responses provided exclusively in writing.
Other language versions may be available on the Alvax Technologies website and for contractual documents. However, in case of interpretation difficulties, refer to the English version.
Scope of Pre-Contractual Information
Alvax Technologies strives to satisfy the pre-contractual information necessary for any Internet user. If any decisive information is not provided by Alvax Technologies, it is the responsibility of the Internet user to contact Alvax Technologies to obtain the information beforehand.
Alvax Technologies responds to such requests and provides Internet users with support throughout the week from 9 am to 12.30 pm and from 1.30 pm to 5 pm, except on weekends:

Alvax Technologies may not be held responsible for not informing the Internet user if the decisive nature of the information was not brought to its attention and included in the contractual field.
When the Internet user places an order for Alvax Technologies's services, they access the general and special conditions of service applicable at the time of the order process. The user is asked for express acceptance of these conditions to proceed with their order and may keep a copy by downloading them in PDF format. Alvax Technologies advises the Internet user to retain and print these documents.
Offers
The offers made by Alvax Technologies are valid as long as they are proposed on the Sites. Alvax Technologies undertakes to maintain its service offers within the specified period or under reasonable conditions.
Alvax Technologies remains the sole decision-maker regarding its offers. Information from a third-party site does not constitute a valid offer unless fully present on the Alvax Technologies website.
Alvax Technologies continuously improves and develops its service offers, reserving the right to modify them. Services Offered
Alvax Technologies offers several services detailed on the pages related to the services concerned. Users must refer to these pages to learn about the services. They are accessible on the Alvax Technologies website, and only this information constitutes the characteristics of the services offered, provided it is still online.
Numerous elements inform the Internet user about the offers and enable them to make an informed decision. The customer support team provides a telephone number and online support (chat and contact form) for additional information.
Copyright.eu Services: Anteriority Proof Service
Description of the Alvax Technologies Service
Alvax Technologies offers an anteriority proof service using qualified electronic time stamping, blockchain time stamping, and electronic legal archiving for various types of digital format creations. This service allows:
• Proving authorship by anteriority.
• Demonstrating the existence and integrity of deposited creations.
Alvax Technologies generates the proof of anteriority ordered and keeps the files under the conditions specified in the "8.3 Retention Period" section.
For “Premium” filing, Alvax Technologies transmits the anteriority certificate and files to a bailiff’s office upon order receipt.
Using the Copyright.eu service only provides proof of anteriority with a definite date and does not guarantee legal protection by intellectual property rights. The production of a Copyright.eu time-stamping certificate in court does not guarantee the outcome of a dispute, depending on the judges' discretion.
Terms and Conditions of Copyright.eu Services
Deposits are made directly online on the Copyright.eu platform after registration (see “9.1 Registration on the Site”). During the deposit, users provide information about their status as an author and a description of the creation. Customers upload the files corresponding to the creation.
Once the order is completed (see “9. Ordering Services and Concluding the Contract Online”):
• The client receives an email within 48 hours with the anteriority certificate and a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) signed by Alvax Technologies.
• The certificate is available in the Client’s account via the “Download the certificate” action.
• An ISPO number is issued for each certificate, allowing the deposit's validity to be publicly verified on the Copyright.info register and access to the Blockchain time-stamping certificate.
Alvax Technologies carries out the legal electronic archiving (via SAE Arkhinéo) of the anteriority certificate. Proof of this archiving is available on request by email.
Retention Period
Anteriority certificates issued by Alvax Technologies:
• Alvax Technologies retains anteriority certificates indefinitely and ensures their durability. They are backed up in a secure infrastructure hosted in Croatia.
Files deposited on the platform:
• Alvax Technologies retains files deposited by the user for at least five years from the deposit date.
• During these five years, users can retrieve the files directly from their account. After this period, files are archived in a "cold data" system, and access may require an express request and an additional fee. Ordering Services and Concluding the Contract Online
Registration on the Site
To place an order, users must create an account on the Site. This leads to the creation of a personal space on the Site, enabling users to:
• Use the services.
• Find all necessary documents and information in their online customer area.
Creating an account is free of charge.
Preparation of the Order
Users start the order process for the desired services by providing necessary information. They must then select the service offer corresponding to their needs.
Correction of Errors in the Order
Users can check and correct errors at any time by restarting a new service. The system allows users to check for errors, but it is ultimately their responsibility to ensure there are no errors.
Formation of the Online Contract and Final Validation
The contract is concluded as soon as the user demonstrates their wish to commit by placing and confirming an order. Users must accept the contractual information and confirm their order, indicating their obligation to pay for it. The final validation is the moment full payment is received by Alvax Technologies, triggering the generation of the anteriority certificate and associated services.
Archiving and Proof
The order summary is archived by Alvax Technologies and transmitted electronically to the user after final validation. It can also be consulted in the online account under “My Orders.” An invoice is made available in PDF format. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers placing an order for services involving digital content provided before the end of the withdrawal period must expressly waive their right of withdrawal. The service is triggered immediately upon order validation and payment, thus waiving the right of withdrawal according to the law.
Price and Payment Terms
Prices
Prices are presented on the "prices" page of the corresponding offers, indicated in euros excluding tax (HT). The total amount, including all taxes (TTC), is shown at various stages of placing the order.
Terms of Payment
Users can pay by credit card (Credit card, Visa, Mastercard). Alvax Technologies uses a secure payment service, and banking information is not kept unless expressly requested by the user. For other payment methods, contact Alvax Technologies by email or telephone.
Payment of the full price is required to validate the order.
Billing
Alvax Technologies creates an invoice accessible in PDF format in the “Orders and Invoices” tab of the Client Area and sends it by email upon order completion. Clients should retain the invoice as proof.
Reservation of Price Changes
Alvax Technologies reserves the right to modify prices at any time. New prices apply to orders placed after the new price comes into effect.
The consumer's right to unilateral termination of the contract and refund of funds (the so-called cancellation policy) with the specified number of days within which the money is returned to the cardholder in the event that the service and refund are not provided
The consumer's right to submit a written complaint via email and/or postal address (the so-called Complaint policy with a legal deadline for responding to a complaint from Place of legal jurisdiction in case of a legal dispute (so-called Jurisdiction policy) - one of the local courts in the Republic of Croatia or the option of out-of-court dispute resolution via the Platform for online resolution of consumer disputes (Platform for ORS; Electronic link to the Platform for ORS - http://ec.europa.eu/odr )
